Mother’s Day is celebrated each year on the first Sunday of May. Its origins lie in Greek traditions that were revived by the Methodist Christians in the United States. It is a liturgical day meant to celebrate the importance of mothers in human life. The primary emotional influence of a child is his or her mother and she is responsible for meeting critical developmental challenges. A mother is instrumental in shaping the internal morality of a child, his psychological health and character. She is also responsible for inculcating good values in them. Education is meant to enable a person into becoming a good citizen. Mothers provide the seminal education of a child, the foundation of learning. We at Eduworld acknowledge and respect a mother’s contribution to the world.
