World Water Day

World Water Day falls on 22 March every year. It is an annual United Nations Observance event, started in the year 1993 that celebrates water in all its forms and raises awareness of the 2 billions of people currently living without access to safe water. This 2022 year theme is, ‘Groundwater – making the invisible visible’.

The core focus of World Water Day is to inspire action towards Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) and ensuring water and sanitation for all by 2030 year. Edu world has also joined with international institutions to commemorate this festival to celebrate water and saving of water from unnecessary uses or stagnation, henceforth it is necessary for us to make use of the situation and conserve water in our environment.

Groundwater is quite like invisible, but its impact is visible everywhere. Out of sight, under our feet, groundwater is a hidden treasure that enriches our lives. In the driest parts of the world, it may be the only water people can have.

Almost all of the total liquid and it’s  freshwater in the world is groundwater is far below, hence supporting drinking water supplies, sanitation systems, farming, industry and ecosystems. In many places, human activities over-use and pollute groundwater. In other places, we simply do not know how much water is down there.

Groundwater will play a critical role in adapting to climate change. We need to work together to sustainably manage this precious resource.

Edu World Corporate proudly help us in natural water conservation as a glorious opportunity to raise an awareness campaign in our institutions and our organization staffs and students, alike to take part in this righteous cause to save water and enrich the recycling of water and the groundwater content.
