World student’s day octo 15th

The United Nations has confirmed that World Students’ Day, which falls on October 15, was not officially declared by the United Nations. World Students Day is only observed in India; no one is aware of its origin. The primary objective of this day is to honour Kalam’s contribution to education. Students were largely motivated to become their best selves by his insightful lectures and dedication to teaching.

Abdul Kalam was always of the opinion that students are the future and have the forward-thinking minds that would propel our nation to new heights of success in all areas. World Students Day was established to honour Abdul Kalam’s devotion to his students. “The transformation of education begins with teachers” is this year’s theme for World Teachers’ Day. World Students’ Day is celebrated on the birthday of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, who was the former president of India. The following are additional reasons why this day is regarded as significant:

  • It reaffirms education’s significance.
  • The Fundamental Right to Education Day is celebrated.
  • APJ Abdul Kalam’s brilliant work is honoured on this day, as is his fondness for instructing students.

The Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honour, was bestowed upon Dr. Kalam. He also received the Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan for his work as the Indian government’s scientific advisor. On July 27, 2015, Kalam suffered a cardiac arrest while giving a lecture at IIM-Shillong. He then collapsed and passed away. His contributions remain regarded as some of the nation’s best scientific and technological advancements years after his death.

A nation’s economy and society grow as a result of education; Consequently, it is the turning point in a nation’s development.

Education not only shapes the personality of a nation’s youth but also imparts knowledge and skills to the population. A person’s success in life is greatly influenced by their level of education. It may have a significant impact on people’s chances of maintaining their quality of life. Education is generally regarded as society’s foundation, contributing to social prosperity, economic wealth, and political stability. Because education enhances an individual’s capacity to manage quality of life, it is a factor in both economic and social status. It can assist individuals in avoiding poverty, fostering social harmony, and promoting democracy. Education can also empower them to express themselves, reveal their true potential, transform them into better people, and broaden their perspective on a particular topic.

Edu world shares that education plays a crucial role in the transmission and cultivation of values, which in turn influence the behaviours, attitudes, and reactions of responsible citizens. Deni Hardianto (2005) asserts that the components of the education system are to blame for the failure of education to shape national identity. Teachers, educational establishments, and the government’s commitment must all participate in improving education.

For instance, teachers must also have a strong identity and a strong commitment to helping students develop a sense of identity. In order to advance national education, the government must play a significant role. It includes making sure students get a good education, making sure teachers are happy, and not using education as a political tool.
